HC Deb 14 May 1912 vol 38 c965
Mr. KEIR HARDIE

asked whether a representative of the Board of Trade has yet been invited by the Taff Vale Railway Company to visit Aberdare Station with a view to ascertaining whether there is land available for the erection of new and commodious buildings; and, if so, what has been the result?

Mr. ROBERTSON

One of the Board's inspecting officers of railways recently visited this place, and he reports that the possible area of the station is limited owing to there being a river on one side and a public road on the other, but that the railway company propose to double the width of the existing platform, and to reconstruct the station buildings.
