HC Deb 04 March 1912 vol 35 c22
Mr. POINTER

asked the President of the Local Government Board whether the recent material reduction in the vaccination of children, owing to the working of The Vaccination Act, 1907, has been accompanied by a corresponding decline in the death-rate of infants in England and Wales to the extent of 30 per cent, in 1910 as compared with 1901?

The PRESIDENT of the LOCAL GOVERNMENT BOARD (Mr. Burns)

While expressing no opinion as to any connection between the two phenomena, I may say that the facts are as stated.
