HC Deb 18 June 1912 vol 39 c1484
45. Mr. KING

asked the Prime Minister whether his attention has been called to a memorial signed by teaching members of Oxford University, and presented to the chancellor of the university, in favour of a Commission to inquire what changes are desirable in order to secure the increased efficiency of the university; and whether the Government is prepared to take any action?

The PRIME MINISTER (Mr. Asquith)

The memorial referred to has not been brought officially to my notice, but the whole question is under consideration.
