HC Deb 11 June 1912 vol 39 c693
63. Mr. CLYNES

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he can suggest some suitable recognition of the act of bravery on the part of Harry Williams, a dock labourer, who on 21st May, though unable to swim, jumped into the water at Pomona Dock, Manchester, to save a drowning man?

Mr. McKENNA

I am making inquiry into the facts of this case, and will in due course communicate with my hon. Friend.
