HC Deb 17 July 1912 vol 41 cc396-7
63. Mr. FELL

asked if insured persons suffering from tuberculosis can now obtain supplies of cod liver oil, and, if so, to whom should application be made; and will this benefit be given to Post Office contributors who cannot get accepted by an approved society?

Mr. MASTERMAN

An insured person suffering from tuberculosis should apply to the local insurance committee, who will arrange for treatment suitable to his condition. Sanatorium benefit is not limited to members of approved societies, but can be given by the local insurance committees to any persons insured under the Act.
