Mr. HOGGEasked whether the Board of Agriculture for Scotland has considered the applications for surveyors and assistant surveyors advertised for in May of this year; when they are likely to make the appointments; and whether the Board is now in a position to announce the result of the competition for the best plans for the buildings asked for?
Mr. McKINNON WOODI am informed that the Board have considered these applications, and hope to make the appointments early next month. The results of the competition will be announced at the same time.
