asked the Under-Secretary of State for India whether the Secretary of State has seen the judgment of the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council in the case of Asima Bibi and Others v. Munshi Shama Canand, in which their Lordships have advised His Majesty that the decree of the High Court of Calcutta was against all principle and authority; and whether the Secretary of State proposes to take any action in view of these continued reversals of the judgments of the Calcutta High Court?
