HC Deb 26 October 1911 vol 30 c289
Earl WINTERTON

asked approximately the amount of damage done to property in the course of riots and disturbances from 1st October, 1910, to 1st October, 1911, in England, Wales, Ireland, and Scotland, respectively?

Mr. McKENNA

I am not in possession of the information required. It would be necessary in order to obtain it to call for reports from the local authorities all over the country. In the circumstances I am afraid that I cannot undertake to procure it.

Earl WINTERTON

In view of the importance of this question will the right hon. Gentleman reconsider his decision?

Mr. McKENNA

I will look into it.
