HC Deb 24 May 1911 vol 26 c257
Mr. ELLIS DAVIES

asked whether, if it is the intention that the investiture of H.R.H. the Prince of Wales should take place at Carnarvon Castle, the Parliamentary representatives of the Principality and Monmouthshire will be officially notified; and whether it will be suggested to the authorities that at the investiture the civil element shall not, as was the case at recent ceremonies of national interest, be subordinate to the military class?

The PRIME MINISTER

I understand that the answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative, and that the answer to the second part is that both the civil element and the military class will be adequately represented.
