§ Mr. HERBERT SAMUELThe male night operators taken over from the National Telephone Company will, in accordance with the terms of the Memorandum read in this House on 9th August, 1905, be subject to the conditions applying to the class of Post Office male night operators. The case of the present body of unestablished male night operators employed in the Post. Office was decided on its merits and without reference to the future status of similar officers now employed by the National Telephone Company.
