HC Deb 21 May 1910 vol 116 cc392-3
90. Mr. T. A. LEWIS

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether he is aware that owing to the lack of a railway station on the Great Western Railway at Coed Ely, Llantrisant, many miners have to walk daily several miles to and from their work; whether he is aware that the whole population of this industrial centre have to walk long distances to the nearest railway station; and whether, to meet the needs of this district, the Railway Executive Committee will give instructions for the provision of a temporary halt platform at Coed Ely pending the erection of a suitable permanent station?

Mr. BRIDGEMAN

I am making inquiries into this matter, and will write to the hon. Gentleman as soon as I can.
