HC Deb 29 March 1910 vol 15 cc1159-60
Mr. O'KELLY

asked the Chief Secretary if he will state when the sale of the remainder of the King-Harman estate will be completed; whether it was the expectation of the Estates Commissioners that the sale would be completed at the close of the year 1908; and whether he is aware that the delay in concluding the business is causing discontent?

Mr. BIRRELL

The consent of the Congested Districts Board required by Section 58 of the Irish Land Act, 1909, having been received, the Estates Commissioners hope to issue their proposal to purchase the residue of this estate at an early date.
