HC Deb 11 July 1910 vol 19 cc22-3
Mr. ORMSBY-GORE

asked the President of the Board of Education whether any provision is made by the Merionethshire local education authority for the inspection of the children in elementary council schools in the county of Merioneth in the religious syllabus issued by the authority for the guidance of teachers; if so, who the inspectors are; and, in the event of there being no inspection in religious subjects, what means are there for ascertaining that religious instruction is being competently given in all the elementary schools provided by the Merionethshire education authority?

The PRESIDENT of the BOARD of EDUCATION (Mr. Runciman)

I have no information on any of the points referred to in the question.
