HC Deb 12 April 1910 vol 16 c1047
Colonel LOCKWOOD

asked what would be the probable extra cost of the 30s. minimum wage to men employed in the danger zone in royal arsenals?

Mr. HALDANE

If the minimum wage were increased to 30s., considerable consequential increases in other ratings would be involved, which could not be estimated. I am afraid, therefore, that I am not in a position to give the hon. and gallant Member any figures.
