§ Mr. HOBHOUSEMy right hon. Friend has placed upon the Paper a proposed new clause exempting from Undeveloped Land Duty any agricultural land, occupied and cultivated by the owner, where the total value of such land, together with any other land belonging to the same owner, does not exceed £500. My hon. Friend will find, on reference to the Report of the Debate on the 1st instant, that my right hon. Friend did not make any promise to exempt market gardens as such.
