asked the Chief Secretary for Ireland what steps, if any, have been taken by the Estates Commissioners to restore the evicted tenants on the Vandeleur estate at Cloughakeating, in the county of Limerick; has this estate been finally sold; if so, why have the evicted tenants not been restored; who has been grazing the evicted farms for the past two or three years; and what hope is going to be held out to those tenants that they will be restored at an early date?

Proceedings for the sale-of this estate have been instituted by the owner under the Irish Land Act, 1903, but the property has not yet been dealt with by the Estates Commissioners. The Commissioners have decided to take no action in reference to Mary Bourke's application for reinstatement. Mrs. Manning's application will be dealt with when the property comes before the Commissioners in order of priority. The holdings referred to in these applications are being worked (by the owner.
