§ Mr. CHARLES CRAIGasked the Chief Secretary for Ireland whether the Crown will be represented at the appeal before the Universities Committee of the Privy Council against the establishment of a lectureship in scholastic philosophy in Queen's University, Belfast; and, if so, whether the establishment of such lectureship will be supported or opposed by such representative?

I cannot say what attitude counsel will adopt as to the questions which may arise. They will take their instructions from the Commission itself, through the Chairman, and not from the Government.
