§ Mr. MASTERMANThree petitions have been lodged against the Jersey Education Bill, namely:—A petition of members of Church of England, trustees, managers, and supporters of Church Schools in Jersey (bearing 2,094 signatures) received at Privy Council Office on 9th September, 1909; a petition of Roman Catholic clergy and laity of Jersey (bearing 3,434 signatures) received at Privy Council Office on 13th September, 1909; and a petition of certain ratepayers of Jersey (bearing 354 signatures) received at Privy Council Office on 18th September, 1909. They will now be forwarded to the Jersey States for observations.
