HC Deb 10 May 1909 vol 4 cc1443-4
Captain CRAIG

asked the Postmaster-General whether he was aware that the place selected for the new post office in Collinstown was that part of the premises of Mr. Gough outside the village which was used by him as a pig-sty; whether he was aware that the proposed site was highly inconvenient, and objected to by the inhabitants; and if he would state what were the arrangements which had been made for obtaining a site for Collinstown postal and telegraphic business?

Mr. BUXTON

That portion of the premises referred to which has been used to shelter a pig will not be used for the post office. The post office will be in a separate portion of the building, and I do not think that any serious inconvenience will be caused by the position of the office.
