§ Mr. HOGANasked the Chief Secretary for Ireland whether he could state the amount of the advances already made and the amount of the advances applied for, under the Land Purchase Acts, in the cases of the following tenant-purchasers in the parish of Shinrone, viz.: Messrs. Richard Wallace, Thomas Wallace, James Wallace, H. Briscoe Kenny, H. Davis Kenny, and Francis Kenny; and whether he could state the amount of land already in the possession of these gentlemen?
§ Mr. CHERRYThe advances made or applied for under the Land Purchase Acts are not classified according to the parishes in which the lands are situate. The Land Commission, therefore, find a difficulty in supplying the information asked for in the question. They are, however, compiling a detailed statement on the subject, which I shall forward to the hon. Member when I receive it.
