HC Deb 29 March 1909 vol 3 c31
Mr. DELANY

asked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether County Court Judge Fitzgerald, acting on the evidence and according to the desire of the agent of the Dunne estate (Mr. Brown), Clonaslee, Queen's county, proposes to change three cottages from an untenanted grazing ranch where they were originally sited to a small holding gazetted by the Estates Commissioners to be compulsorily acquired under the Evicted Tenants Act for the evicted tenant, notwithstanding the fact that the sanitary officer has testified upon oath that the sites suggested by Mr. Brown are unsuitable from a sanitary point of view?

Mr. BIRRELL

I have no information as to the statements in this question. The proceedings in the county court are entirely outside my control.
