HC Deb 04 March 1909 vol 1 c1567
Mr. O'SHAUGHNESSY

asked the Chief Secretary for Ireland whether he is aware that the Church Temporalities Commissioners are paying £1 per week to a caretaker for herding a small holding near Knockaderry, in the county of Limerick, from which they evicted the late William Brown, and from which they receive no return for this outlay; and whether, having regard to this fact and also that the widow Brown is willing to pay a fair rent for the holding, he would use his influence with the Commissioners to have her reinstated?

Mr. BIRRELL

I would refer the hon. Member to my reply to a question on the same subject asked by him on 3rd December last.
