§ Mr. W. CROOKSasked the right hon. Gentleman whether his attention has been drawn to the change created by Chapter X., Religious Instruction, in the recently issued Regulations for the Training of 1648 Teachers in Elementary Schools; and whether, in view of the change thus made in the policy of the Education Department, the chapter will not be put into operation until this House has had an opportunity of discussing the matter?
§ The PRIME MINISTERI understand that the Regulations referred to will not be operative until 1st August next. The House will have an opportunity of discussing the matter on the Board of Education Estimates, which are put down for Thursday next.
