HC Deb 07 July 1909 vol 7 c1196
Mr. GINNELL

asked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland what he estimated to be the annual increase in the cost of administration in Ireland, as distinguished from payments to either landlords or tenants, resulting from the enactment of the Land Bill now before Parliament?

The CHIEF SECRETARY for IRELAND (Mr. Birrell)

I am unable at present to form an estimate of the increase in the cost of administration likely to arise under the Land Bill.
