HC Deb 07 July 1909 vol 7 c1184
Mr. FELL

asked if the floating docks proposed to be constructed by the Admiralty can be moored in the river harbours on the East Coast, or if the tides there are too strong to enable them to be used for that purpose with safety?

Mr. McKENNA

It is considered that floating docks may be moored safely in certain river harbours on the East Coast, if associated with the necessary protective works.
