§ Mr. BIRRELLThe pension awarded in each of these three cases was disallowed by the Local Government Board, as they were not satisfied that the claimants' yearly means, as calculated in accordance with section 4 of the Old Age Pensions Act, did not exceed £31 10s. The answer to the last portion of the question is in the negative.
