§ Mr. BIRRELLOn the night of the 17th June four revolver shots were fired into the house of Michael O'Brien, two of which struck the canopy over his bed, and one pierced the bed clothes. The police have not as yet succeeded in making any arrests, but active inquiries are being made with a view of tracing the offenders.
