HC Deb 02 December 1909 vol 13 c540
Mr. PIRIE

asked the Lord Advocate if he can state what was the total value of the fish on board the trawler "Makrelen," of Fredrikshaven, which was caught fishing in the territorial waters of the Moray Firth last week and conducted to Aberdeen; and whether the take included 50 boxes of prime plaice, mostly caught in extra-territorial waters which are closed to British trawlers, and at what port the trawler intended to land and sell its take?

The LORD ADVOCATE (Mr. Ure)

As this case will shortly be the subject of a prosecution it would be inadvisable to enter into details on the points raised by my hon. Friend. The facts will doubtless be elicited in the course of the hearing.
