HC Deb 19 August 1909 vol 9 c1526
Mr. CLELAND

asked the Secretary of State for War whether he is aware that the new webbing equipment has been served out to certain Territorial battalions and not to others; and whether he proposes to take steps to ensure that such equipment shall be issued without delay to those battalions who have not yet received it?

Mr. HALDANE

The selection of the type of equipment rests with the county associations, who can, if they desire, replace equipment taken over from the Volunteers by a different pattern as replacement becomes necessary.
