HC Deb 19 August 1909 vol 9 c1512
Mr. T. F. RICHARDS

asked the Postmaster-General whether he can supply this House with a Return of the number of unestablished officers employed in the Departments of the Engineer-in-Chief and the Controller of the Postal Stores and Factories who have been in the continuous employment of the Department for 20 years or upwards, less than 20 and not more than 10 years, less than 10 and not more than 5 years, and less than 5 years and not more than 2 years; what percentage does unestablished labour represent to the whole number of men engaged in the Departments of the Engineer-in-Chief and the Controller of Stores and Factories; and do the unestablished servants perform work similar to that of the established officers?

Mr. BUXTON

I am having inquiry made, and will furnish the hon. Member with the desired particulars.
