HC Deb 05 August 1909 vol 8 c1980
Mr. FELL

asked if the right hon. Gentleman is in a position to mention the Bills which are to be included in the Speech from the Throne next year, in addition to the measures already announced by the President of the Board of Trade?

The PRIME MINISTER

The answer is in the negative.

Mr. FELL

May I ask if the numerous Bills promised by the President of the Board of Trade will take precedence of the Welsh Church Disestablishment Bill?

The PRIME MINISTER

I cannot make any statement on the subject.

Sir WILLIAM ANSON

Can the Prime Minister give the House any information as to the course of business next week?

The PRIME MINISTER

We propose on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday to take the Committee stage of the Finance Bill.

On Friday, the 13th instant, we propose to take the third reading of the Public Works Loans Bill and the third reading of the Appropriation Bill, and I hope the further stages of one or two uncontroversial Bills.

In the following week I trust we shall pass the South Africa Constitution Bill through this House. We propose to take the second reading on Monday, the 16th, and the other stages later in the same week.
