HC Deb 27 April 1909 vol 4 c178
Mr. MIDDLEMORE

asked the First Lord of the Admiralty whether, in view of the statement by the Commander-in-Chief of the Atlantic Fleet on 29th March last that under the new scheme of naval distribution each group or fleet in Home waters was a self-contained naval force, he will give the House the names of the fleet scouts, torpedo craft, and auxiliary vessels belonging or attached to the Atlantic Fleet, or in any way under the orders of the Commander-in-Chief of that fleet?

Mr. McKENNA

No flotilla of torpedo craft with accompanying scouts and auxiliary vessels is at present permanently associated with the Atlantic Fleet.
