HC Deb 01 April 1909 vol 3 cc469-70
Mr. GINNELL

asked whether the last audited accounts of the Commissioners of Charitable Donations and Bequests for Ireland were available for examination; if so, where, and when; and, if not, why not?

Mr. BIRRELL

The accounts of the Commissioners of Charitable Donations and Bequests have been duly audited by the Local Government Board, and the provisions of the Statute applicable thereto have been complied with. The Commissioners do not propose to make the details of the accounts, 916 in number, available for examination by the public. They inform me that the utmost facility and assistance is given under their statutory obligations to persons interested in the administration of any particular charity or charities.
