HC Deb 29 October 1908 vol 195 c463
MR. C. MACVEIGH (Donegal, E.)

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether the Estates Commissioners have received an application from Edward McDermott to be reinstated in a holding in lieu of his farm on Lady Hegate's estate, County Donegal, from which he was evicted; whether he is aware that his name was placed on the list of persons entitled to a farm; and if he can state the cause of the delay.

(Answered by Mr. Birrell.) The Estates Commissioners have received an application for reinstatement from Edward McDermott, and it has been noted for consideration in the allotment of untenanted land for the purchase of which the Commissioners are in negotiation.
