DILLON (Mayo, E.)I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he will request the Estates Commissioners in all future monthly returns of purchase loans sanctioned to distinguish between first and second-term rents, and to add a column giving the number of years purchase in each case.
§ MR. BIRRELLThe returns to which the hon. Member refers are prepared by the Estates Commissioners in the form prescribed by the Treasury in pursuance of the Act of 1903. I will consult with the Commissioners and the Treasury as to the possibility of adding to the Return particulars of the nature suggested by the hon. Member.
