HC Deb 28 October 1908 vol 195 c293
MR. LONSDALE

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he is aware that shots were fired into the residence of Mr. Myles J. Keaven, at Prospect, Oranmore, on Friday night; and whether the perpetrators of this outrage have been arrested.

MR. BIRRELL

The reply is in the affirmative. The police have carefully investigated the case, but have not succeeded in obtaining evidence which would warrant any arrest.

MR. LONSDALE

Has Mr. Keaven since received threatening letters?

MR. BIRRELL

I have not heard so.
