I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland in how many instances have persons under a rule of bail for cattle-driving beer, found engaged in a repetition of similiar offences; and in how many such cases have the recognisances been estreated.

The police autho-thorities inform me that there have been four cases of the kind, in all of which the recognisances have been estreated.
