HC Deb 27 October 1908 vol 195 c83
MR. JOHN WARD (Stoke-on-Trent)

I beg to ask the hon. Member for South Somerset, as representing the President of the Board of Agriculture, whether the Board has taken any steps to prevent the enclosure of the village green in the parish of Redenham, Hants, or whether the Board has any information upon the subject.

SIR EDWARD STRACHEY

The Board have made inquiry locally, and have also been in communication with the Commons Preservation Society on this matter, but they have no power to take any action in regard to it.
