HC Deb 26 October 1908 vol 194 c1628
*MR. REES

I beg to ask the Prime Minister whether, in the administration of the funds to be made available for the unemployed, the wants of towns in central Wales will receive due consideration.

MR. ASQUITH

I have no doubt that my right hon. friend the President of the Local Government Board will be prepared to make payments from the grant to the distress committee of any place in Wales in which there is exceptional distress, and useful work would be provided.
