HC Deb 30 November 1908 vol 197 cc1064-5
MR. JOHN O'DONNELL

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether the Congested Districts Board have considered the advisability of undertaking the whole of the drainage of the River Robe, County Mayo; and, if so, whether there would be any chance of having the work started early in the coming spring, with a view to saving hundreds of acres that are flooded in the spring and autumn of each year and thereby rendered almost useless to the tenants.

(Answered by Mr. Birrell.) I have nothing to add to my reply to a Question on this subject asked by the hon. Member on the 14th April last.
