To ask the President of the Board of Education what were the figures of school places in the council, Church of England, Roman Catholic, and other public elementary schools, respectively, of England and Wales during the school years 1901–2 and 1906–7; and what were the figures of children in average attendance in each of these classes of schools during the same years.

Subsection (5) of Clause 2 applies only to requests on the part of parents for facilities for religious instruction of a character different from that which it is open to the local education authority to give in accordance with Section 14 (2) of the Elementary Education Act, 1870.
