§ MR. BOWLES (Lambeth, Norwood)To ask the Secretary to the Treasury whether he will state the amounts to be issued from the Exchequer to meet capital expenditure during the current financial year 1908–9 to the Admiralty, the War Office, the Civil Services, and the Revenue Departments respectively.
(Answered by Mr. Hobhouse.) The estimated amounts (given on page 5 of the House of Commons Paper 137 of 1908) are Admiralty £897,000, War Office, £300,000, Civil Services, £338,000, Revenue Departments, £1,250,000.
