PRICE (Edinburgh, Central)I beg to ask the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether any inquiry has been made, in accordance with an undertaking given by Earl Beauchamp on 23rd June, as to what legislation in other countries has taken place on Sunday labour or a weekly day of rest; and, if 1402 so, will he make known the result of the inquiry by either publishing the correspondence or making a Report to the House.
§ MR. MCKINNON WOODHis Majesty's representatives in certain foreign countries were instructed last July to report on the subject. The correspondence will be published as soon as all the information asked for has been received.
