I beg to ask the President of the Board of Trade, with reference to the Committee appointed to inquire into the subject of the importation of Canadian cattle, how many times they have sat up to the present moment, and when they are likely to send in their Report.

My hon. friend appears to be under some misapprehension. There is no Committee on the subject alluded to at present sitting, so far as I am aware.
