§ MR. SNOWDENI beg to ask the First Lord of the Treasury whether he will introduce into the Civil Service Regulations a prohibition of the formation of political bodies within the Civil Service, and at the same time grant to Civil servants equal freedom with all other citizens to take their share in political activities outside of their hours and duties as public servants.
§ MR. ASQUITHAs I said the other day, the whole matter is under consideration, and I am not at present in a position to make any statement in reply to the hon. Member's inquiries.
