§ SIR W. J. COLLINSTo ask the Prime Minister whether any further communication has been either received from the Royal College of Surgeons of England by the Lord President of the Council, or addressed to the College by the latter, since the late Prime Minister announced that the Council of the Royal College had declined to fall in with the suggestions of the Government and secure to the members of the College some voice in the management; and whether the 1556 Government propose to make any further representations to the Council of the College through the Lord President.
(Answered by Mr. Asquith.) No further communication has been received from the Royal College of Surgeons, and it is not proposed to repeat representations to which the Council are unwilling to give effect.
