HC Deb 28 May 1908 vol 189 c1287
MR. J. DEVLIN

I beg to ask the Postmaster-General whether, in view of the dissatisfaction which exists in Belfast as to the inconvenience of the present posting arrangements at the General Post Office there, he will consider the advisability of acquiring the adjoining premises in Royal Avenue, lately occupied by the Workshops for the Blind, in order to have the receiving boxes placed there instead of in their present position.

MR. SYDNEY BUXTON

I am not aware that the property in question is yet in the market. The question of the extension of the Belfast Post Office has been under consideration, and land has been purchased with that view.
