HC Deb 26 May 1908 vol 189 c925
MR. JAMES HOPE

To ask the Secretary to the Treasury whether he can cause instructions to be given to the Customs authorities to keep a separate record of the imports of plated goods.

(Answered by Mr. Hobhouse.) The question of keeping a separate record of imported plated goods is to be referred by the Board of Customs to the Joint Revision Committee appointed by them and the Board of Trade, which meets annually in the autumn to consider and report upon any changes proposed in the Accounts of the Import and Export Trade of the United Kingdom for the following year.
