Sis IVOR HERBERT (Monmouthshire, S.)I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War whether his attention has been drawn to the inconvenience created by continuing officially to designate infantry regiments of the Line as Territorial regiments; and whether he will consider the advisability of confining that official designation to units of the Territorial Army.
§ MR. HALDANEThe designation "Territorial" has now ceased to be applied to Line regiments. It has already been dropped in the Army List, and will be dropped in future Gazettes.
