HC Deb 25 May 1908 vol 189 c736
SIR THOMAS ESMONDE (Wexford, N.)

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland if he will consider the question of establishing a Public Trustee in Ireland as now exists in England.

(Answered by Mr. Birrell.) With a view to the full consideration of this question I have referred the matter to the Lord Chancellor, with the request that he will take an opportunity of considering whether legislation might not be usefully introduced next session, and, if so, upon what lines, regard being had to the differences between the English and Irish law.
